Senior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

Greenveyil Energy Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and support the engineering design, technical validation and execution planning of large-scale rooftop and ground-mounted solar EPC projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge in electrical system design, grid integration and compliance standards applicable in India.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects
• Prepare SLDs, cable sizing, protection schemes and inverter configurations
• Conduct load analysis and generation modelling
• Ensure compliance with state electricity board regulations
• Support net metering and grid interconnection approvals
• Coordinate with project execution teams during installation
• Review vendor technical documentation and specifications
• Conduct site inspections and commissioning validation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in solar EPC or power infrastructure
• Strong understanding of grid codes and protection systems
• Experience with solar design software and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of net metering and regulatory approvals in India

Preferred Skills

• Experience in MW-scale rooftop projects
• SCADA integration exposure
• Strong documentation discipline
• Leadership in technical coordination
